Celtic Community Physiotherapy provide a physiotherapy home visiting service to patients in Cardiff and the surrounding area that are unable, for whatever the reason, to attend a physiotherapy clinic.
Studies have shown that by having treatment at home you can achieve recovery quicker and more effectively. Being seen at home means you can receive the treatment you need in a familiar place and in a relaxed way without the anxiety or worry of going to a clinic.
I will come to see you at home to complete a full assessment, including how you manage day to day and your home environment. Together we will continue with evidence based treatments as required. We will set goals together to work towards throughout your rehabilitation. This can then help you to maintain your independence.
Conditions that a home visit from Celtic Community Physio can help with
Muscle strengthening e.g. after orthopaedic surgery
Gait re-education, including stairs re-education
Rehab after hospitalisation
Long term management of neurological conditions
Improving function and confidence with day to day tasks
